Food is a participatory, social, and learning experience.

It is important to encourage great eating habits in young children.  We find that meal times are the perfect times to grow, learn, bond, examine and try new things.  We always offer a variety of healthy and interesting food choices, using fresh, local and organic whenever possible.

Snack and lunch are provided for students.  Snack generally consists of a combination of fresh and organic fruits and vegetables and whole grains (like crackers or rice cakes).   Lunch includes a main protein/ carbohydrate entrée  as well as a fruit and vegetable choice.  Children are encouraged to try new things, but as with all things a child’s own choices are respected.  Both snack and lunch are served family style and table manners as well as conversation and fun are encouraged during eating times.

Special diets can be accommodated.
